Windspire Entertainment was formed in 2004 in the game Star Wars Galaxies  by  Balgosa and Garritt Windspire (Brian and Chris Arndt).

Originally, we had decided to group up with an ingame friend Belief and shoot a video of male dancers to the song “Shake Your Coconuts” as a joke to the guild to show how silly male dancers look in-game.  We dressed them up in hotpants (hawt pants as we called them) and big boots and gloves and shot a video using Fraps.

Little did we know that when the guild saw it they would distribute it all over the place on the net! The video made it all the way to Sony Online’s Fan Fest and was played in front of 2,000 people!

Since that day, we decided to continue making Machinima, which at the time wasn’t as known in MMOs. We moved on to World of Warcraft eventually and shot a few videos and a short lived series named The Shorties.

Windspire Entertainment still exists but we haven’t had much time to do a video in a while. Hopefully in the near future there will be an update so stay tuned!
